Hero MotoCorp Launches Xoom 160 Scooter and Xtreme 250R Motorcycle Simultaneously
Hero MotoCorp has kicked off 2026 with a double launch, introducing the Xoom 160 maxi-scooter and the Xtreme 250R performance motorcycle simultaneously across India.
Hero Xoom 160 is Hero first 160cc maxi-scooter, targeting urban commuters who want style and performance. It produces 14.5 HP, comes with a Bluetooth-connected digital instrument cluster, and is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh ex-showroom. It directly competes with the Honda Activa 6G and TVS NTorq 125.
Hero Xtreme 250R is the most powerful single-cylinder motorcycle Hero has ever made. The 250cc liquid-cooled engine produces 30 HP and 25 Nm of torque. It gets USD front forks, dual-channel ABS, and a sporty quarter-fairing design. Priced at Rs 1.65 lakh, it takes on the KTM Duke 250 and Yamaha MT-25 head on.
Both motorcycles are available at Hero dealerships nationwide with introductory exchange and finance benefits through June 2026.
